Method and material for wrapping items using a wrapping material made up of separate wrapping portions (1, 2) of a predetermined length. The wrapping portions (1, 2) are attached and released at their (4a, 4b) using a Z-lock system. The Z-lock system holds the wrapping portions (1, 2) together during manufacturing but can also easily release or separate the wrapping portions (1, 2) at a desired point in the wrapping process. The separating of the wrapping portions (1, 2) exposes an adhesive (A) that is use to securely bond at least one wrapping portion (1, 2) to the item being wrapped at the end of a wrapping cycle.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à matériau servant à emballer des articles au moyen d'un matériau d'emballage constitué de parties d'emballage séparées (1, 2) ayant une longueur prédéterminée.
