ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed are ABC block copolymers based on butadiene and isoprene, processes for their manufacture and their use. The block copolymers comprise: 40 to 75% of a block A based on buta- diene (uniformly distribut d vinyl group content less then 15%), up to 25% of a block B based on butadiene and isoprene (vinyl content less than 15%) or based on butadiene (vinyl content more than 75), and 20 to 55% of a block C based on butadiene and isoprene (vinyl content more than 75%). The ABC block copolymers are useful for the manufacture of tyre treads.
