An endoprosthesis for repairing and treating abdominal aortic aneurysms. The endoprosthesis features an anchoring and sealing component (100) and low profile bifurcated legs (104, 106). A biocompatible graft material is secured to at least the bifurcated legs in order to provide two endoleg fluid flow lumens or conduits. The bifurcated legs have staggered stent elements (118) that nest to contribute to the low profile nature of the device and additional longitudinal struts (300) between pair of the staggered stent elements to increase the longitudinal stiffness of the bifurcated legs while maintaining the patency of the lumen created thereby.

L'invention concerne une endoprothèse permettant de soigner et de traiter des anévrismes de l'aorte abdominale. Cette endoprothèse comporte un composant de fixation et de fermeture hermétique (100) et des branches bifurquées à profil bas (104, 106). Une matière de greffe biocompatible est fixée au moins sur les branches bifurquées en vue d'engendrer des conduits ou lumières d'écoulement de liquide à deux branches. Lesdites branches bifurquées présentent des éléments d'endoprothèses empilés (118) qui contribuent au profil bas du dispositif et des supports longitudinaux supplémentaires (300) entre la paire d'éléments d'endoprothèses empilés, de manière à augmenter la dureté longitudinale des branches bifurquées, tandis qu'est maintenue la perméabilité de la lumière ainsi créée.
