Abrasion resistant laminates which are aesthetically pleasing, water- resistant/water-repellant, and flexible are formed by laminating a wear- resistant durable multi-layer top assembly to a base layer formed from an inexpensive, water-resistant, polymeric substrate. The durable multi-layer wear-resistant top layer assembly comprises a wear-resistant upper layer, a decorative layer, and a core layer. The polymeric base layer comprises a water- resistant substrate which is positioned beneath the top layer assembly and is laminated thereto with a water-resistant adhesive. This abrasion resistant laminate could be applicable in a variety of situations wherever a decorative and/or abrasion resistant product could be used and would be particularly useful in the floor covering industry.
La présente invention concerne des stratifiés résistants à l'abrasion, esthétiquement décoratifs, hydrorésistants/hydrofuges et flexibles, formés par stratification d'un ensemble de couche de dessus, multicouche, résistant à l'usure, durable, sur une couche de base à partir d'un substrat polymère hydrorésistant et bon marché. L'ensemble couche de dessus, multicouche, résistant à l'usure, durable comprend une couche supérieure résistant à l'usure, une couche de décoration et une couche noyau. La couche de base polymère comprend un substrat hydrorésistant placé en-dessous de l'ensemble couche de dessus et y est stratifié par un adhésif hydrorésistant. Ce stratifié résistant à l'abrasion peut s'appliquer dans des situations variées lorsqu'on peut utiliser un produit décoratif et/ou résistant à l'abrasion notamment dans l'industrie de couverture des sols.
