Disclosed is an abrasion-resistant steel sheet which is suitable for a member that contacts with dirt such as a power shovel and has excellent processability in bending. Also disclosed is a method for producing the steel sheet. Specifically disclosed is a steel sheet which comprises the following components (by mass): C: 0.05 to 0.35%, Si: 0.05-1.0%, Mn: 0.1 to 2.0%, Ti: 0.1 to 1.2% and Al: 0.1% or less, further comprises at least one member selected from 0.1 to 1.0% of Cu, 0.1 to 2.0% of Ni, 0.1 to 1.0% of Cr, 0.05 to 1.0% of Mo, 0.05 to 1.0% of W and 0.0003 to 0.0030% of B (by mass), has a DI* value represented by the formula below of less than 60, and optionally comprises one or two members selected from 0.005 to 1.0% of Nb and 0.005 to 1.0% of V (by mass), with the remainder being Fe and inevitable impurities: DI* = 33.85x(0.1xC*)0.5x(0.7xSi+1)x(3.33xMn+1)x (0.35xCu+1)x(0.36xNi+1)x(2.16xCr+1)x(3xMo*+1)x(1.5xW*+1) (1) [wherein C* = C-1/4x(Ti-48/14N); Mo* = Mox(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N)); and W* = Wx(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N))].

La présente invention concerne une tôle d'acier résistante à l'abrasion utilisable pour la fabrication d'un élément en contact avec les remblais comme une pelleteuse et extrêmement facile à mettre en AEuvre en flexion. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ladite tôle d'acier. L'invention concerne, plus précisément, une tôle d'acier comprenant les composants suivants (en poids) : C : 0.05 à 0.35 %, Si : 0.05 à 1.0 %, Mn : 0.1 à 2.0 %, Ti : 0.1 à 1.2 % et Al : 0.1 % ou moins, comprenant, en outre, au moins un parmi les éléments suivants : 0.1 à 1.0 % de Cu, 0.1 à 2.0 % de Ni, 0.1 à 1.0 % de Cr, 0.05 à 1.0 % de Mo, 0.05 à 1.0 % de W et 0.0003 à 0.0030 % de B (en poids), présentant une valeur DI* correspondant à la formule ci-dessous inférieure à 60, et comprenant éventuellement un ou deux éléments choisis parmi 0.005 à 1.0 % de Nb et 0.005 à 1.0 % de V (en poids), le reste étant constitué de Fe et des inévitables impuretés : DI* = 33.85x(0.1xC*)0.5x(0.7xSi+1)x(3.33xMn+1)x (0.35xCu+1)x(0.36xNi+1)x(2.16xCr+1)x(3xMo*+1)x(1.5xW*+1) (1) [où C* = C-1/4x(Ti-48/14N); Mo* = Mox(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N)); et W* = Wx(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N))].
