Abstract of the Disclosure A thin, abrasion resistant polyurethane coating which is hydroyl- tically and oxidatively stable is disclosed. The polyurethane coating is prepared by reacting a low molecular weight polycarbonate diol with an aliphatic diisocyanate, and curing with a trifunctional crosslinking agent. The polyurethane coatings of the invention are particularly useful in aircraft transparencies.
