Abrasive articles made using a coatable. addition polymerizable binder precursor composition are described, as well as methods of making same. The compositions comprise a reactive diluent compound and preferably an addition polymerizable resin, the reactive diluent being an organic compound selected to be especially effective in solubilizing aminoplast resins.

On décrit des articles abrasifs obtenus à l'aide d'une composition de précurseur de liant polymérisable d'addition pouvant recevoir un revêtement ainsi que des procédés de fabrication. Ces compositions contiennent un composé diluant réactif et de préférence une résine polymérisable d'addition, le diluant réactif étant un composé organique choisi pour être particulièrement efficace pour solubiliser des résines aminoplastes.
