2123404 9309916 PCTABS00022 The abrasive blast cabinet (10) includes a housing (12) defining a blast chamber (28), a blast nozzle (40) connected to a source of blast media for directing a flow of the blast media against an article (50) to be cleaned, a tubular member (62) supported by the housing (12) and having an inner end portion (64) located inside the chamber (28) and an outer end portion (70) including a viewing port (72) through which an operator can direct his or her line of sight a stack (76) open to the atmosphere and connected with the interior of the tubular member (62), and ventilation (118) for removing the blast media and drawing air through the stack (76) and the tubular member (62) and discharging same from the outlet of the tubular member (62) in the vicinity of the article (50) so that the operator can view the cleaning action.
