- 1 - The present invention is directed to an abrasive material in a shaped form suitable for grinding, abrading or cutting various articles. The abrasive material has high abrasion performance and high mechanical strength and is characterized in that it comprises alumina fibers of 3 to 100 µm in diameter and not more than 10 % in coefficient of variation of diameter bonded with a resin.
