ABSTRACT An abrasive article such as a grinding wheel, disc or like tool is made up of metal objects such as rivets, staples or studs imbedded in a backing member and abrasive particles such as diamond or cubic boron nitride particles are electroplated onto exposed surfaces of the metal objects to provide a distribution of abrasive conglomerates over one surface of the article.
