The ABS unit claimed in the included description and illustrations is a personal usage device, applied to the benefit of its individual owner. The ABS unit comprises three working arms connected in a designated manner, along with a choice of working surfaces, that when combined as a single unit will perform the duties required for its prescribed purposes. The ABS unit facilitates scratching, vibrating, massaging and washing a person's back and other parts of their anatomy that might otherwise be inaccessible for the individual's own abilities to access. The ABS unit, by being of a compactable nature, imparts to it's owner the ability to collapse and carry it easily with him or her, opening and using it whenever and wherever desired. When used appropriately, the ABS unit can grant to it's user the relief from itchiness, soreness or centralized discomfort as well as washing. Persons with a disability of normal movement, but still able to control some of their muscular actions, will be enabled to get relief of their minor irritations with their personal application of the ABS unit without the need of another party becoming involved (ie. lateral or side-to-side movement). By virtue of it's simple design the ABS unit can be utilized without great effort or extensive study in its operation, providing the owner reads or has read to them and understands the instructions accompanying each unit. As in all things, following the accompanying guidelines will ensure correct usage and longer working order of the ABS unit being maintained. The uniqueness of the truncated oval for surface unit attachment and the specialty bolts specifically designed for ABS configuration makes the ABS unit different and far more utilitarian than any other form of back scratcher previously designed or in present manufacture. Although the ABS unit's ideal medium of manufacture would be entirely plastic, future manufacture can be of a combination of wood and plastic, the attachable surfaces and linkage aspects of the ABS unit being made of plastic if the medium of manufacture is of wood finished with a waterproof coating in order to allow the ABS unit to be used in a shower/bath/sauna. ABS can be used comfortably by either right or left handed persons.
