The invention relates to novel copolylactides which have been polymerized from units of racemic lactide and the comonomers .epsilon.-caprolactone, .delta.-valerolactone, 1,4-dioxan-2-one or 1,3-dioxan-2-one in a lactide/comonomer molar ratio of 90-80/10-20 in the presence of tin(II) di(ethylhexanoate) as initiator and of a cocatalyst at about 160°C, and have a glass transition temperature between 30 and 43°C, a molecular weight M n of from 15,000 to 50,000 and a polydispersity P n (M w/M n) between 1.2 and 2. The novel copolylactides are particularly suitable in an outstanding manner for the management of all types of wounds.

L'invention porte sur de nouveaux copolylactides obtenus par polymérisation d'unités de lactide racémique et des comonomères .epsilon.-caprolactone, de .delta.-valérolactone, de 1,4-dioxan-2- one ou de 1,3-dioxan-2-one dans une proportion molaire lactide/comonomer de 90-80/10-20 en présence de di(éthylhexanoate) d'étin(II) comme amorceur et d'un co-catalyseur à une température d'environ 160 degrés C. Ces copolylactides ont une température de transition vitreuse qui se situe entre 30 et 43 degrés C, un poids moléculaire M n variant entre 15 000 et 50 000, ainsi qu'une polydispersité P n (M w/M n) entre 1,2 et 2. Les nouveaux copolylactides conviennent en particulier, et de façon remarquable, pour la gestion de tous les types de plaies.
