The present invention provides an absorbent article such as a diaper, pant diaper, a sanitary pant or incontinence garment. The article comprises at least one first elastic web material which is ultrasonically welded to at least one second web material along at least one weld seam. The second web material is different to the first elastic web material and said second web material has a degree of elasticity which is different to the elasticity of the first elastic web material. According to the invention, the ultrasonic weld seam between the first elastic web material and the second web material is reinforced to have a weld strength in a direction transverse to the weld seam which is at least 5N/25.4mm. The invention particularly relates to pant-type absorbent articles.
La présente invention concerne un article absorbant comme une couche, une couche culotte, des culottes sanitaires ou des dispositifs contre l'incontinence. L'article comprend au moins une première matière élastique en réseau qui est soudée par ultrasons à au moins une seconde matière en réseau, le long d'au moins une couture soudée. La seconde matière en réseau est différente de la première matière élastique en réseau et ladite seconde matière en réseau possède un degré d'élasticité qui est différent de l'élasticité de la première matière élastique en réseau. Selon l'invention, la couture soudée par ultrasons entre la première matière élastique en réseau et la deuxième matière en réseau est renforcée pour présenter une résistance de soudure dans la direction transverse à la couture soudée qui atteint au moins 5N/25,4mm. L'invention concerne particulièrement les articles absorbants de type culotte.
