Disposable absorbent articles, such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, diapers and incontinence pads, in which two lateral side absorbent leaf/leg elements extend perpendicular to the principal longitudinal absorbent main crotch element of the said absorbent article when worn. The present invention provides for a sustained convex surface contact of the absorbent article with wearers' body. By adhering the two lateral side absorbent leaf/leg elements directly onto the wearers' thigh undergarment the compressive forces of the wearers' thighs effect a postive change in the pad, pushing the principal longitudinal centerline upward to the vaginal area. The compressive forces of the wearers' thighs now increase resistance against negative deformation of the said present absorbent article thus eliminating sagging, gaping, sliding, slipping and bunching or scrunching of the said article. Therefore this present invention provides better protection from soiling of the wearers' garments and body while providing comfort to the wearer.
