ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An absorbent composite comprising 100 parts by weight of an absorbent polymer, 1 to 600 parts by weight of a fibrous substrate, and 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of polyaluminum chloride and having said absorbent polymer adjoined to and fixed on said fibrous substrate through the medium of said polyaluminum chloride as a binder, and production thereof.
