An absorbent, porous structure (4), intended for use in an absorbent article, wherein the structure (4) exhibits a first region (19), primarily consisting of a first material, which stands in direct connection with a second region (20), primarily consisting of a second material. The receding wetting angle .theta.r is larger for the first material than for the second material, whereby liquid transport between the two regions (19, 20) takes place in a direction from the first region (19) to the second region (20), at least when the porous structure (4) is wet.

L'invention concerne une structure absorbante (4) poreuse, destinée à être utilisée dans un article absorbant. Cette structure comprend une première zone (19) constituée, de préférence, d'un premier matériau, qui est en contact avec une seconde zone (20), qui est constituée, de préférence, d'un second matériau.
