AC CURRENT SWITCH Abstract of the Disclosure A current switch which emulates a thyristor by using enhancement mode field effect transistors. A center tapped current transformer and a push-pull field effect transistor arrangement eliminates the need for either rectifier diodes or a full wave bridge connected to the current transformer.
