AN AC TYPE IGNITION SYSTEM (D#74,581-F) Abstract of the Disclosure An electronic control circuit for use in connection with an AC type ignition system which employs a relatively high frequency oscillator. The oscillator generates an AC spark signal that has a controlled duration. The starting of each spark signal is controlled by an engine-timed signal, and the time duration of the spark signal is made inversely proportional to the engine speed. The result is an AC spark with a duration that coincides with a constant degree of crank angle rotation of the engine. I
