An improved access floor support structure for an access floor system made of recyclable polypropylene with a mineral filler added thereto which increases the structure's mechanical properties. In one embodiment, the mineral filler is talc. In another embodiment, the mineral filler is montmorillonite clay. The montmorillonite clay is especially useful due to its additional fire retardant properties. Optional polypropylene additives may also be used to enhance the mechanical properties of the support structure.

L'invention concerne une structure améliorée de support de faux-plancher pour un système de faux-plancher constitué de polypropylène recyclable et d'une charge minérale ajoutée à ce dernier qui augmente les propriétés mécaniques de la structure. Dans un mode de réalisation, la charge minérale est du talc. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la charge minérale est de l'argile montmorillonite. L'argile montmorillonite est notamment utile du fait de ses propriétés ignifuges additionnelles. Des additifs du polypropylène éventuels peuvent également être utilisés pour améliorer les propriétés mécaniques de la structure de support.
