ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An accessory such as, for example, a towel bar which includes a pair of spaced supports and which are mounted to a wall and support therebetween a bar for supporting a towel (not shown). Each of the supports includes a flange, a sleeve or hub, a decorator ring and an end-cover button. An insert is positioned within a hole formed in the side of sleeve to facilitate support of bar within the spaced sleeves. Each of the supports is mounted over and attached to a post which is attached to and extends from a base whereby the post and base form a wall mount. The wall mount is attached to the wall to support the towel bar with the bar being positioned for utilization relative to the external support. Other accessories such as a shelf, a soap dish, a tumbler/toothbrush holder, a shelf assembly, a robe hood, a towel ring, a soap dish stand and a toilet paper holder utilize similar supports and mounting facilities as those of towel bar.
