An accessory for use with a power tool, the tool being of the type having a rechargeable battery connected to the bottom of its handle. The accessory has a flexible electrical conductor, with a first electrical connector at one end and a second electrical connector at the other end; and a holder for holding the battery when the battery is removed from the tool. The holder is adapted to be connected to the worker's belt or the like to be supported. The conductor is connected between the tool and the battery, when the battery is in the holder, to electrically connect the battery to the tool even though the battery and tool are separated.
