ABSTRACT The invention relates to an accessory for a toilet recep- tacle which includes an auxiliary seat adapted to be posi- tioned on the existing ring seat of a toilet receptacle and act as a toilet seat for small children. The auxiliary seat is mechanically connected to a platform which can serve as a step for small children to enable them to seat themselves on the auxiliary seat, the seat including the platform being displaceable between inoperative and operative posi- tions, so that use of the toilet receptacle by adults is not unduly inhibited.
