There is provided an accessory for a writing implement including a body assembly (10) comprising a barrel (11) and a split plug (12) and defining a passage (13) therethrough adapted to receive a pencil (14). The barrel (11) is provided with an internally threaded end (15) adapted to be engaged by an outer threaded portion (16) of the split plug (12) which is provided with a pair of opposed slots (17). The respective threaded portions (15) and (16) are relatively tapered whereby threaded engagement of the split plug (12) with the barrel (11) causes the slots (17) to close up such that the pencil (14) is retained thereby. The barrel (11) is provided with a pocket clip (20).

L'invention concerne un accessoire destiné à un instrument d'écriture et comprenant un ensemble corps (10) muni d'un cylindre (11) et d'une bague fendue (12) et définissant un passage (13) traversant conçu pour recevoir un crayon (14). Le cylindre (11) comporte une extrémité à filetage intérieur (15) conçue pour entrer en prise avec une partie filetée extérieure (16) de la bague fendue (12), laquelle comprend une paire de fentes opposées (17). Les parties filetées respectives (15 et 16) sont relativement effilées, l'entrée en prise par filetage de la bague fendue (12) et avec le cylindre (11) amenant les fentes (17) à se fermer de façon à retenir le crayon (14). Ledit cylindre (11) est pourvu d'une agrafe (20).
