Abstract An accessory for the thermostatic valve of a radiator with a capillary tube (4) comprises a protective tube (107). The latter contains a longitudinal slot (18) for introducing the capillary tube (4). Two holders (10, 113) serve to locate one end (108) of the protective tube at the thermostatic valve and the other end (112) at a surface (6) bounding the room. This offers protection against the destruction of the capillary tube (4). Fig. 3
