The invention relates to an accommodating device for specimen slides (12) that comprises a base part (14). A number of centering elements (16, 18, 20) are joined to said base part (14). The centering elements (16, 18, 20) are arranged in order to provide a number of accommodation areas (22) for accommodating each of the specimen slides (12). The centering elements (16, 18, 20) form preferably one enclosing centering frame around each accommodating area (22).
