Intraocular lenses include an optic adapted to focus light toward a retina of an eye and a movement assembly coupled to the optic. The optic includes a far vision correction power for infinity reduced by a diopiter power increment. The movement assembly is adapted to cooperate with the eye to move the optic bidirectionally, that is anteriorly in the eye and posteriorly in the eye, for example, from a neutral resting position in the eye, to effect positive accommodating movement of the optic and negative accommodating movement of the optic, respectively. Methods of inserting such, intraocular lenses into an eye are also provided.
L'invention porte sur des lentilles intraoculaires comportant une optique permettant de focaliser la lumière sur la rétine et un ensemble mobile couplé à l'optique. Ladite optique présente un pouvoir correcteur de la vision lointaine à l'infini réduit par un accroissement de la puissance dioptrique. L'ensemble mobile est conçu pour coopérer avec l'oeil dans les deux sens, c.-à-d. vers l'avant ou vers l'arrière. Partant par exemple d'une position neutre de repos, il permet d'effectuer des mouvements d'accommodation soit positifs, soit négatifs. L'invention porte également sur des procédés d'insertion desdites lentilles dans l'oeil.
