ACETATE SHEET COVERED CARD FINISHER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and apparatus for the high speed applica- tion of acetate sheet covers to greeting cards or like flexible stock, in which each sheet and associated card registered one with the other are aligned with a pair of opposed edge portions of the sheet extending laterally beyond a pair of opposed lateral edges of the card and the sheet-card combination is conveyed continuously forward along a path during which that portion of the sheet along a line adjacent each lateral edge of the card is heated and the lateral edge portions of the sheet are folded along the heated line to overlap the card and heat set in that position against the card.
