The acid addition salts of tetrahydrothienopyridine derivatives of the present invention exhibit excellent oral absorption, metabolisation into the active compound, and platelet aggregation-inhibiting effects, low toxicity, and excellent storage and handling stabilities, and are useful as medicaments, preferably preventive or therapeutic agents (particularly therapeutic agents) for diseases caused by thrombus or embolus, still more preferably preventive or therapeutic agents (particularly therapuetic agents) for thrombosis or embolism.

La présente invention concerne des sels d'addition acides de 2-acétoxy-5-(.alpha.-cyclopropyl-carbonyl-2-fluorobenzyl)-4,5,6,7-tétrahydrothiéno[3,2-c]-pyridine. Ces sels d'addition acides se distinguent par leur aptitude à l'absorption par voie orale, par leur action d'activation du métabolisme et d'inhibition de l'agrégation plaquettaire, par leur faible toxicité, et par leur stabilité au stockage et à la manutention. Ces sels conviennent comme médicaments, de préférence comme médicaments prophylactiques ou thérapeutiques, et plus particulièrement comme médicaments thérapeutiques dans le cas d'affections provoquées par le thrombus ou l'infarcissement, mais avec une nette préférence comme médicaments prophylactiques ou thérapeutiques, et plus particulièrement comme médicaments thérapeutiques pour traiter la thrombose ou l'infarctus.
