The invention relates to an acid-dyeable polyamide fibre which can be obtained very reproducibly and unsusceptibly to faults during the production process. The fibre is characterized in that the amino end group content is less than 10 meq/kg. A very reproducible affinity for dyestuffy is obtained by copolymerization of a compound containing an acidic end group and having a basic nature. Compounds derived from melamine are particularly suitable.

L'invention concerne une fibre en polyamide à teinture par colorant acide pouvant être obtenue avec une capacité élevée de reproduction et non susceptible de présenter des défauts pendant le procédé de production. La fibre est caractérisée en ce que la teneur en groupes terminaux amino est inférieure à 10 meq/kg. On obtient une affinité très reproductible avec des colorants par copolymérisation d'un composé contenant un groupe terminal acide et présentant une nature basique. Des composés dérivés de mélamine sont particulièrement appropriés.
