The brush filament comprises a matrix resin, a hydrolytic stabilizer and/or an acid-absorbing agent, and an antioxidant. The brush fila-ment of the invention is suitable for industrial applications, in particular, for grinding, polishing and cleaning of marbles and/or metals after they have been cut.
