An Acorn Toothbrush with the hairs secured and protruding all around on one end of a cylindrical plastic rod. With the presently manual operable toothbrushes the hairs protrude from one flat base. The Acorn toothbrush that we invented has the hairs secured and protruding on one end of a round cylindrical plastic body all around. The hairs of the brush are radially secured throughout the portion of the brush. The remaining portion of the round plastic body is ribbed and serves as a handle. This facilitates as a grip for turning the brush. There is a shield which covers part of the cylindrical surface of the brush. This shield protects the inner part of the cheek, when the brush is turned. The shield is snapped-on and loose to allow free rotation of the brush.
