A vehicle carpet system has a continuous carpet base molded to the shape of the vehicle floor in which it is to be installed. The carpet base includes at least one layer of a molded noise-attenuating material, at least one molded recess formed therein. A removable acoustic carpet module fitted into the at least one recess and held in place by a releasable retainer.

L'invention concerne un système de tapis pour véhicule comprenant une base de tapis continu moulé par rapport à la forme du plancher du véhicule, dans lequel elle doit être installée. Le tapis comprend au moins une couche de matériau insonore moulé, au moins un renfoncement moulé étant ménagé à l'intérieur. Un module de tapis acoustique amovible est inséré dans au moins un renfoncement et maintenu en place par un dispositif de retenue amovible.
