ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A remote terminal for use in an acoustic measuring system comprises a measuring device including an input terminal supplied with an analog signal to be measured, an A/D converter for converting the analog signal to a digital signal and an output terminal for manifesting an analyzed result of the analog signal; an analyzing apparatus is used for processing the data of the digital signal and for generating the analyzed result. The measuring device and the analyzing apparatus are coupled by MODEMs to each other through a data transmission circuit.
