An acoustic panel for reducing the transmission of noise therethrough is provided. The acoustic panel may include a sound-absorbing surface with a plurality of convex and concave structures. The convex and concave structures may be organized in a regular array and may be spatially arranged to be alternating with one another. A dishwasher may use such an acoustic panel including a panel of sound absorbing material by placing such a panel inside the door, in or around the walls of the tub of a dishwasher, or the panel can also be used to reduce the transmission of noise with other products. A method of inserting a panel of sound-absorbing material into the door of a dishwasher is also provided. The panel may include protrusions extending from one of its surfaces in order to engage a supporting surface of the product to which it is attached.
L'invention concerne un panneau acoustique pour réduire la transmission de bruit passant au travers. Le panneau acoustique peut comprendre une surface absorbant le son ayant une pluralité de structures convexes et concaves. Les structures convexes et concaves peuvent être organisées selon un réseau régulier et peuvent être agencées spatialement de façon à être alternées. Un lave-vaisselle peut utiliser un tel panneau acoustique comprenant un panneau en matériau absorbant le son, ce panneau pouvant être placé à l'intérieur de la porte, dans ou autour des parois de la cuve d'un lave-vaisselle, ou bien le panneau pouvant également être utilisé pour réduire la transmission de bruit avec d'autres produits. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'insertion d'un panneau en matériau absorbant le son dans la porte d'un lave-vaisselle. Le panneau peut comprendre des protubérances s'étendant depuis l'une de ses surfaces afin de mettre en prise une surface de support du produit auquel il est attaché.
