Disclosed herein is a method of decorating a mineral-fibre acoustic panel, comprising the steps of providing a substrate of mineral-spun materials, said substrate having a target outer surface; and applying a sufficient quantity of colourant to the outer surface to decorate the outer surface while retaining at least some of the acoustic properties of the panel.
