The invention relates to an acoustic transducer for deep imsersion operating at frequencies of a few kilohertz. It consists in decoupling.,the horn with respect to the rear of the transducer through at least one metal compensator placed between said horn and the envelope of the transducer that surrounds the active portion thereof. It applies to transmitting transducers for undersea operation at significant depths. Applications to the implementation of acoustic antennas.
