Ces acrylates sont ceux des formules : Image (I) Image (II) Image (III) où R = alkyle en C1-C12, cycloalkyle en C5-C12, aryle, arylalkyle ou alkylaryle ; Y = alkyle en C1-C12, aryle en C6-C12, radical hétérocyclique dont le cycle comporte de 5 à 10 chaînons et dont l'hétéroatome est choisi parmi N, O et S, et alkylaryle dont la partie alkyle comprend de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ; et Z = radical hydrocarboné compre- nant au moins 2 C formant avec 0 et les 2 C adjacents un cycle comportant de 4 à 8 chaînons. Pour les préparer, on fait réagir un acrylate de formule CH2=CH-COOR avec un dialdéhyde OHC-Y-CHO, en présence d'une quantité efficace d'au moins un catalyseur de fonctionnalisation. L'invention porte également sur l'obtention de nouveaux polymères et copolymères à partir desdits acrylates.
