ABSTRACT A two-part initiator system useful in acrylic adhesive compositions comprising in one part a stable organoboron amine complex and in the second part an aldehyde destabilizer or activator. This initiator is particularly useful in elastomeric acrylic adhesive compositions and provides room temperature, relatively slow curing systems with good adhesive properties making them useful in applications where longer open times are required.
