The present invention relates to pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions. The compositions are a blend of about 5 to 95 weight percent of of an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and about 5 to 95 weight percent of a thermoplastic elastomeric copolymer. The compositions have a morphology comprising at least two distinc domains, a first domain being substantially continuous in nature and said second domain being fibrillose to schistose in nature parallel to a major surface of the adhesive composition within said first domain. The invention further provides pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and processes for preparing the compositions and tapes.
Des compositions, relatives à des adhésifs sensibles à la pression, résultent d'un mélange d'environ 5 à 95 % en poids d'un adhésif acrylique sensible à la pression et d'environ 5 à 95 % en poids d'un copolymère en bloc d'un élastomère thermoplastique. Ces compositions présentent une morphologie comprenant au moins deux domaines distincts, le premier qui est pour l'essentiel d'une nature continue et le deuxième qui est d'une nature fibreuse à schisteuse et parallèle à une des furfaces principales du premier domaine de cette composition d'adhésion. On décrit aussi des rubans adhésifs sensibles à la pression et des procédés permettant de préparer ces compositions et de fabriquer ces rubans.
