The invention relates to the application of oligonucleotide and polypeptide sequences of molecules belonging to the vascular permeability factor (VPF) family, their receptors and co-receptors and to their modifications in active immunotherapy against pathological entities whose course is associated with an increase in vasculature. Said procedures can be used, inter alia, in monotherapy or combined therapy for the treatment of cancer and its metastasis, acute and chronic inflammatory processes, infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, diabetic and infant retinopathy, rejection of transplanted organs, macular degeneration, neovascular glaucoma, hemangioma and angiofibroma.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation de séquences oligonucléotidiques et polypeptidiques de molécules de la famille du facteur de perméabilité vasculaire (VPF), de ses récepteurs et de ses co-récepteurs, ainsi que des modifications de ceux-ci dans l'immunothérapie active d'entités pathologiques dont le cours est associé à l'augmentation de la vascularité. Ces procédés peuvent être utilisés dans la thérapie unique ou combinée de traitement du cancer et de ses métastases, des processus inflammatoires aigus et chroniques, de maladies infectieuses, de maladies auto-immunes, de la rétinopathie diabétique et des prématurés, du rejet de la greffe d'organes, de la dégénérescence maculaire, des glaucomes néovasculaires, d'hémangiomes et des angiofibromes, entre autres.
