ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a filter network for use in a circuit for coupling a bidirectional path to an incoming and outgoing path of an active hybrid circuit which includes a receive amplifier having an input unit which is connectable to the incoming path and an output unit which is connectable to the bidirectional path. The circuit further includes first and second capacitors and a transformer which has a first winding connected in series with the first capacitor to the bidirectional path and second winding connected in series with the second capacitor. The filter network includes an inductor which is serially connectable with the second capacitor and the second winding to the output unit of the receive amplifier and a capacitor which is connectable to the output unit of the receive amplifier and in parallel with the inductor, the second winding and the second capacitor.
