The apparatus (10) of the present invention is a papermaking machine with a forming fabric (12) in a looped configuration. The forming fabric (12) carries paper stock (100) through the papermaking process. The forming fabric (12) passes over a liquid-filled cavity (20) which is bounded on its lower surface by a flexible non-permeable membrane (14). A roll (22) with regular protrusions (24) underneath the membrane (14) is rotated to vertically excite the membrane (14), the liquid-filled cavity (20), and, subsequently, the paper stock (100) in order to disperse the paper stock (100) into a random orientation.
L'appareil (10) faisant l'objet de la présente invention est une machine de fabrication de papier dotée d'une toile de formage (12) en forme de boucle. Ladite toile (12) véhicule la pâte à papier (100) tout au long du processus de fabrication. La toile de formage (12) passe au-dessus d'une cavité (20) remplie de liquide délimitée sur sa surface inférieure par une membrane souple et imperméable (14). On fait tourner un rouleau (22) doté de saillies régulières (24), se trouvant sous la membrane (14), ce qui permet d'activer verticalement la membrane (14), la cavité (20) remplie de liquide et, ultérieurement, la pâte à papier (100), grâce à quoi ladite pâte (100) est dispersée dans des directions aléatoires.
