An actuating mechanism, particularly for a disc brake caliper, including a screw actuator having a screw (40) and a nut (18) threadably coupled together, an electric drive for driving one of the screw (40) and the nut (18) axially relative to the other and including a stator (20) and a rotor (22), a sleeve assembly including a generally cylindrical sleeve (25) interposed between the rotor (22) and the nut (18) and supporting the rotor (22) for rotation relative to the sleeve (25). The rotor (22) is connected to one of the screw (40) or the nut (18) for rotating the screw (40) or the nut (18). The screw actuator being at least partly mounted within the sleeve (25) and being arranged to bear against a portion of the sleeve assembly to transmit axial thrust to the sleeve assembly, and the sleeve assembly cooperating with an abutment to transmit the axial thrust to the abutment.
Un mécanisme d'actionnement, notamment pour un étrier de frein à disque, comprenant un actionneur de vis ayant une vis (40) et un écrou (18) filetés ensemble, un entraînement électrique permet d'entraîner soit la vis (40), soit l'écrou (18) axialement l'un par rapport à l'autre et comprenant un stator (20) et un rotor (22), un ensemble manchon comprenant un manchon normalement cylindrique (25) venant entre le rotor (22) et l'écrou (18) et supportant le rotor (22) en vue de sa rotation par rapport au manchon (25). Le rotor (22) est relié à la vis (40) ou l'écrou (18) en vue de leur rotation. L'actionneur de vis monté au moins partiellement dans le manchon (25) est disposé de manière à être plaqué contre une partie de l'ensemble manchon afin de transmettre une poussée axiale vers l'ensemble manchon et celui-ci coopérant avec un aboutement afin de transmettre la poussée axiale vers l'aboutement.
