-7- A stop is used for actuating an hydraulic cultivator lift cylinder. The stop is mounted on the piston rod and includes a clamp mountable on the piston rod. A threaded bore in the clamp, parallel to the rod has a threaded rod, for example a bolt, threaded through it. An actuator head is mounted on the end of the threaded rod to engage a valve actuating push rod when the piston rod reaches a limiting position. This allows the simple adjustment of the plate.
