The invention relates to a gearless driving machine (1) with a motor (2) that drives a drive sheave (3). Ropes that are not shown in the drawing are guided via the drive sheave (3) and a deflecting roller (4) and carry an elevator car, not shown in the drawing, and a counterweight, also not shown in the drawing. The drive sheave (3) is supported by a motor shaft (2.1) that is received on the one end by an end shield, not shown in the drawing, and on the other end by a bearing block (5). The motor (2), end shield, bearing block (5) and deflecting roller (4) are mounted on a machine console (6). For an emergency operation of the elevator, a manual drive (18) is provided that can be coupled with the motor shaft (2.1) without using tools. When the elevator is operated manually, a brake lifting lever (21) and the handwheel (18.1) are actuated until the elevator car reaches the next stop.

Selon l'invention, dans une machine d'entraînement (1) sans engrenage, un moteur (2) entraîne une poulie motrice (3). Des câbles, non représentés sur la figure, passent sur la poulie motrice (3) et sur une poulie de renvoi (4), lesquels portent et entraînent une cabine d'ascenseur, non représentée sur la figure, et un contrepoids, non représenté sur la figure. La poulie motrice (3) est portée par un arbre de moteur (2.1) qui, à une extrémité, repose sur un flasque, non représenté sur la figure, et, à l'autre extrémité, sur un support de palier. Le moteur (2), le flasque, le support de palier (5) et la poulie de renvoi (4) sont portés par une plaque de base (6). Pour le fonctionnement de secours de l'ascenseur, on utilise un entraînement manuel (18) qui peut être couplé sans outil à l'arbre de moteur (2.1). Lors du fonctionnement manuel, on actionne un levier de déblocage de frein (21) et un volant (18.1) jusqu'à ce que la cabine d'ascenseur atteigne le point d'arrêt le plus proche.
