ABSTRACT An actuator valve for an air driven reciprocating device wherein the valve includes a control rod respon- sive to movement of the reciprocating device and a valve piston pneumatically actuated by movement of the control rod. The valve piston selectively directs air to recip- rocate the driven mechanism. The control rod includes dual longitudinal extending passages to selectively vent each end of the cylinder within which the valve piston operates. The passages are sealed such that unused pres- surized air will not escape from the air valve.
