The compounds of the formula I or their salts (see formula I) in which G is a radical G1, G2 or G3 (see formula G1) (see formula G2) (see formula G3) , R1 is H or alkyl, R2 is COOH, CSOH or a derivative of the carboxyl or thiocarboxyl group, of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or acyl of the type CO-R o of 1-12 carbon atoms, or an imino, hydrazone or oxime derivative of the group CO-R o, and R o, R3a, R4a, R3b, R4b, W, X, Y and Z are as defined in claim 1, are suitable as selective herbicides and plant growth regulators in crops. The preparation is carried out in analogy to known processes (see claim 5) by way of intermediates, some of which are new, from the group consisting of benzene-sulfonamides (II), benzenesulfonyl isocyanates (IV) and benzesulfonyl chlorides (VI) and heterocyclically substituted carbamates (III), amines (V) and/or (thio)-isocyanates (XIX).
Les composés de formule (I) ou leurs sels, où G désigne un reste G<1>, G<2> ou G<3>, R<1> désigne un H ou un alkyle, R<2> désigne COOH, CSOH ou un dérivé du groupe carboxy ou thiocarboxy de 1 à 20 atomes de carbone, ou un acyle du type CO-R<o> de 1 à 12 atomes de carbone, ou un dérivé imino, hydrazone, ou oxime du groupe CO-R<o>, et R<o>, R<3a>, R<4a>, R<3b>, R<4b>, W, X, Y et Z sont tels que définis dans la revendication 1, conviennent comme herbicides sélectifs et comme régulateurs de croissance végétale dans les cultures des plantes utiles. La fabrication s'effectue de façon analogue aux procédés connus, au moyen de produits intermédiaires partiellement connus du groupe du benzènesulfonamide (II), du benzènesulfonylisocyanate (IV) et du benzènesulfochlorure (VI) et des carbamates (III), amines (V) ou (thio)-isocyanates (XIX) substitués dans l'hétérocycle.
