ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to new acylated inmidazol-O,N-acetal compounds, to processes for their preparation and to their use as fungicides or bactericides. The new compounds of the general formula (I) Image in which the substituents R, X and n possess the meanings given in the description can be prepared by reaction of an imidazolyl derivative with an acid halide in the presence of a solvent; three further production methods are also descirbed. The active compounds according to the invention have a broad spectrum of action and can be used against parasitic fungi which attack plants.
