Certain novel 4-substituted N-acylated piperidine derivatives of Formula (I): (see formula I) are agonists of the human melanocortin receptor(s) and, in particular, are selective agonists of the human melanocortin-4 receptor (MC-4R). They are therefore useful for the treatment, control, or prevention of diseases and disorders responsive to the activation of MC-4R, such as obesity, diabetes, sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction and female sexual dysfunction.
Selon l'invention, certains nouveaux dérivés de pipéridine N-acylée 4-substitués sont des agonistes du/des récepteur(s) de la mélanocortine humaine et sont précisément des agonistes sélectifs du récepteur 4 de la mélanocortine humaine (MC-4R). Par conséquent, on utilise ces dérivés pour prévenir, traiter, ou lutter contre les maladies et les troubles sensibles à l'activation du MC-4R, tels que l'obésité, le diabète, et le dysfonctionnement sexuel, notamment le dysfonctionnement érectile et le dysfonctionnement sexuel féminin.
