Abstract of the Disclosure New acylated urea compounds of the formula Image (I) in which R1 is alkyl, baloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl. R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, are each alkyl or alkenyl, and Ar is a 1,3,4-thiadiezole radical which is linked in the 2-position and is optionally substituted in the 5-position; exhibit excellent herbicidal activity and can be used as selective or total herbicides.
